Constructed from Dupioni silk, these designer cord covers are the ideal way to hide those messy, ugly cords that spoils that perfect décor we all want to achieve in our homes. No longer do you have to rearrange your furniture to hide those unsightly cords from your lamps or other electrical apparatus.

Our easy to install chandilier cord cover is designed to fit easily on your installed chandilier. Use our ultra-thin cover for applications where a snug fit is desired. This cover can accommodate cords with diameters of 1/4" - 1/2".

Designer Lamp Cord Cover Instruction

TO APPLY DESIGNER CORDS:

Insert plug into opening of tube and guide through to opposite open until cord is completely through tube.
Secure tube & electrical cord with one hand. Begin sliding fabric off tube in opposite direction of plug. Once all fabric is off tube, slide electrical cord out of tube.
Secure each end of designer cord by applying 2 adhesive squares to the inside of each end of the cord cover by peeling one side of adhesive off, affix to INSIDE of cord cover. Adhesive squares should oppose each other on each end. Then peel off the remaining paper to expose adhesive and with the lamp cord in the middle, press firmly to adhere the cord cover to the wire. Repeat at other end of cord near base of lamp.
Save tube to remove cord for cleaning.

APPLYING MULTIPLE CORDS REQUIRES OUR ROUND TUBE VERSION:

Insert first plug into opening of tube and guide through to opposite open end until cord is completely through tube. Then insert second plug into opening if tube and guide through to opposite open end until cord is completely through tube. Continue this process until all cords are through the tube.
Continue with Steps 2 through 4.

TO SHORTEN AN ELECTRICAL CORD:

Gather electrical cord to desired length and wrap with enclosed wire tie.
Remove desired length of Designer Cord from tube, cut fabric and place back on tube.
Continue with Steps 1 through 4.

Designer Utra-thin Silk Lamp Cord Cover Instruction

Wrap plug with Kordrap’s plug wrap tucking serged edge under plug and electrical cord, making cover narrow as you wrap the electrical cord.
Peel paper off and secure hemmed side on top of folded, tucked end.
Open and lay Kordrap with adhesive side up beneath straightened electrical cord.
Fold & tuck serged end of fabric over the electrical cord. Peel paper off and secure hemmed side on top of folded, tucked end.
This is what the applied Kordrap will look like.
For a gathered appearance, push fabric toward base of lamp or appliance once fabric is closed. Continue pushing until all secured material is used. Repeat until completely applied.
When you reach plug end, secure Kordrap around base of plug. Don’t cover plug, just the cord.
A look at the finished piece.

Easiest if done in 5-inch sections at a time.
For a gathered appearance, use all the material; for a smooth appearance, trim excess material at plug end.

Chandelier Cord Cover Instruction

Begin applying cover at the top of the chandelier chain.
Secure top of chain cover to top of chain by either allowing a portion of adhesive to be exposed and attach the piece to the ceiling fixture or simply overlap the adhesive edge to make a tight fit around top link of chandelier chain.
Continue securing chain cover by exposing approximately 6 inches of tape at a time and overlapping adhesive side on top of non-adhesive side, press firmly together and pushing fabric upward to gather as you work the cover down the chain.

To clean, lightly vacuum or dust.
